Responsibilities:
- Accurately register patients in the Emergency Room.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage promptly.
- Coordinate with medical staff for efficient patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Assist in managing patient flow and prioritisation.
- Collaborate with billing and administrative teams for payment processing.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the relevant field
- Valid CCT or CSST+
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using EMR software.
- Commitment to patient-centred care.
