A premier organization within Dubai’s vibrant finance and banking sector, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovative approach, seeks a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join its dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable Hadoop platforms, orchestrating data flow across the ecosystem like a maestro.
- Develop and automate data pipelines with Python, wrangling massive datasets from ingestion to actionable insights, leaving no byte behind.
- Craft custom Big Data tools and applications in Java, seamlessly integrating with Hadoop and boosting efficiency to new heights.
- Mastermind deployments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and proactive troubleshooting, keep the data engine humming.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, translate complex data into clear insights, and champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, empowering everyone with the power of information
Requirements:
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, including (Hadoop, Python, and Java).
- Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
- Experience with other Hadoop distributions.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capacity to operate both independently and cooperatively, and proficiency in documentation and communication.
