Our client is one of the best medical organizations in Saudi Arabia. Our client is in search of a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neonatologist to join their reputed healthcare facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will specialize in providing comprehensive care to newborns, including premature infants and those with critical medical conditions, ensuring their well-being from birth through the early stages of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert medical care to newborns, including premature infants, those with congenital conditions, and critically ill neonates in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
- Conduct thorough assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of newborns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and oversee treatment strategies tailored to the specific needs of neonatal patients, including medical interventions, monitoring, and surgical procedures when necessary.
- Coordinate closely with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for neonates.
- Educate and counsel parents and family members on the health and development of their newborns, explaining treatment plans and providing support.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution with board certification in Pediatrics and subspecialty certification in Neonatology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as a Consultant Neonatologist in a reputable healthcare setting.
- Profound expertise in the management of neonatal diseases, premature infants, and neonatal intensive care.
- Proven track record of performing a wide range of procedures related to neonatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work well with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring patient safety.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
- Eligibility for licensing/registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is required.
