About our client:
Our client is an innovative and technologically driven organization committed to playing a leading role in industry advancements. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the DevOps field.
- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Configure and maintain virtualized environments, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
- Implement and manage server configurations using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free software delivery.
- Implement and manage version control systems like Git, ensuring adherence to proper branching strategies.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, ELK Stack) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze logs and metrics, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure and deployment automation scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Implement security practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct security audits, perform vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively convey technical ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and version control systems.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
