About Our Client:
Our client is a leading IT company known for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a talented Lead Appian Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to developing cutting-edge software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the successful technical delivery of software solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and testing of solutions on the Appian platform to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysis, Architecture, and Test Engineers to define technical requirements and design solutions.
- Develop user-friendly UI experiences on the Appian platform.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on Appian platform best practices.
- Design and implement Appian-based solutions aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of Appian applications.
- Integrate Appian solutions with external systems and APIs.
- Support infrastructure design and deployment of Appian on both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate build and deployment processes.
- Conduct code reviews, A/B testing, and performance analysis for solution quality verification.
- Document technical designs, code, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to configure production monitoring and alerting capabilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Appian application development and general software engineering development roles.
- Proficiency in Appian concepts, including BPM, rule design, and UI creation.
- Experience with Appian development tools such as Designer, SAIL, and Process Modeler.
- Knowledge of data technologies, including SQL and JSON.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocol.
- Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within an agile environment and meet project deadlines.
Technical and Personal Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Appian development tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with data technologies, front-end technologies, and integration tools.
- Understanding of quality control, test automation, and production monitoring.
- Experience with Appian versions 22.x, 23.x; 24.x is advantageous.
- Foundation technologies knowledge for both on-premises and Cloud environments.
