Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients, review medical histories, and assess surgical options.
- Outline risks and benefits associated with surgery before the procedure.
- Conduct consultations for patients with birth defects, injuries, burns, or seeking aesthetic enhancements.
- Prepare patients for both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
- Prescribe painkillers, antibiotics, and provide comprehensive aftercare advice.
- Schedule and conduct follow-ups for stitch removal, incision inspection, and monitoring healing progress.
- Manage administrative tasks, including updating patient records and clinic policies.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Hold a degree in medicine and completed residency.
- Demonstrate years of practical experience in surgical procedures.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Possess a thorough understanding of patient aftercare and wound management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
