About Our Client:
Our client is a well-known information technology business that operates in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is well-known in the sector for its inventiveness and data-driven methodology. The company is now looking to hire a technical delivery manager to streamline and efficiently execute its projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of data-driven projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while exceeding client expectations.
- Define project requirements, create project plans, and monitor project progress in close coordination with cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Oversee data quality and ensure adherence to established data governance policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage client relationships, maintaining effective communication and proactively addressing concerns.
- Adapt strategies to enhance project outcomes by staying current with emerging trends and developments in data technologies and methodologies.
- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of internal data delivery procedures and processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing data-driven projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
- Strong understanding of data principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with agile methodologies will be preferred.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience working in a global setting.
- Proficiency in relevant data-related tools and technologies (e.g., Big Data platforms, cloud platforms, data visualization tools).
