Quality Assurance Manager Core Duties and Qualifications

In the FMCG industry, a QA Manager is involved with the compliance of industry standard and regulatory benchmark of the company to ensure product’s qualities before they get to the market and sales. This position requires the implementation of quality management systems, collaborating with product teams to help production through existing problems, and performing quality controls.

  • Develop and modify SOPs concerning the quality of work.
  • Train staff to ensure continuity of quality work.

  • Investigate and address customer problems related to product quality.
  • Ensure all laws, health measures, and environmental requirements are met.
  • Develop and report findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications And Certifications

  • Required bachelor’s degree or equivalent in

    • Chemistry
    • Related field
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Quality Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications of Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and others are suggested.
