Asset Integrity Manager Core Duties and Qualifications

  • Co-ordinate with other stakeholders with a view of preventing failures in related equipment.

  • Follow the safety requirements, regulations and standards of the industry throughout the process.
  • Assess performance of the assets and provide the data analysis and find improvement areas.
  • Identify risks and implement solution for asset protection.
  • Develop and present documents on the condition of assets, risks, and the processes.
  • Promote consistency in the effectiveness of asset management practices.

Qualifications And Certifications

The following are the requirement and qualification approved by the key oil and gas companies in UAE.
  • Required bachelor’s degree or equivalent in:
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Mechanical engineering
    • Petroleum engineering
    • Material science
    • Related field
  • Master’s degree in asset management, mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications of Certified Asset Manager (CAM), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), Certified Asset Integrity Management Professional (AIMP), and others are suggested.

Skills And Expertise
