About our Client:
Our client is a leading healthcare complex dedicated to exceptional medical care in Jeddah. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) surgeries to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients with upper GI disorders.
- Plan and perform a range of upper GI surgeries including, but not limited to, bariatric surgeries, esophageal surgeries, and gastric surgeries.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with medical professionals including gastroenterologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists for integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
- Participate in educational activities, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to research initiatives within the department.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a certified institution; board certification in General Surgery.
- Fellowship or specialized training in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon, preferably with a focus on Upper GI procedures.
- Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong surgical skills with proficiency in laparoscopic and advanced upper GI surgical techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and upholding ethical standards in medicine.
