About our client:

Our client is a premier healthcare facility committed to delivering exceptional medical services in Riyadh. Our search for an accomplished and dedicated Consultant Neuro-Spinal Surgeon to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Consultant Neuro-Spinal Surgeon, you will be a crucial member of our neurosurgery department, specializing in spinal surgeries and neurosurgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients with neuro-spinal conditions.
  • Plan and execute a wide range of neuro-spinal surgeries, including but not limited to spinal fusion, laminectomy, spinal cord tumor resection, and complex spinal reconstructions.
  • Utilize advanced surgical techniques and technologies to ensure precise and effective treatments.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, physical therapists, and oncologists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide pre-operative consultations, post-operative care, and follow-up evaluations to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to departmental research initiatives, publications, and educational activities.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution; board certification in Neurosurgery.
  • Fellowship or specialized training in Neuro-Spinal Surgery.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Consultant neuro spinal surgeon, demonstrating expertise in complex spinal surgeries.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced neurosurgical technologies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and upholding ethical standards in medicine.
