As part of their commitment to comprehensive care for our aging population, our client is searching for a skilled and dedicated Geriatrics Consultant to join their team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans for elderly patients.
- Manage and treat geriatric conditions, including but not limited to dementia, falls, polypharmacy, and functional decline.
- Provide expert consultation to other healthcare professionals on geriatric care and complex cases.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on geriatric health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in research, and quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to scholarly activities in geriatrics.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution; Board certification in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent specialty.
- Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing geriatric care within a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments and formulating individualized care plans.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
