About Our Client:
Our client, a leading UAE organization focused on IT and innovation, is seeking an experienced IAM Implementation Manager. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement identity and access management solutions, enhance security frameworks, and lead initiatives to protect critical systems in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IAM Implementation Manager, you will,
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the organization.
- Focuses on integrating and customizing IAM platforms such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, ensuring seamless user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and access recertification processes.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to secure applications, automate provisioning/deprovisioning, and enforce compliance standards. Additionally, they troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and drive continuous improvement of IAM solutions to safeguard enterprise assets
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions, focusing on integration with key systems like SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Ensure efficient automation and management of user onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and manage access certifications to ensure compliance and least privilege access.
- Integrate IAM solutions with internal and external applications using APIs and custom connectors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of IAM systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into IAM solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing IAM processes and workflows to increase efficiency in compliance to best practices and ISG directives.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Work within a hybrid IT/IS environment, managing IAM solutions across cloud platforms and on-premises systems, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure like SQL databases and JBoss application servers.
- Engages with cross-functional teams, including HR, and application owners, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of IAM solutions and to address access management needs.
- Interacts with senior management and business stakeholders to align IAM strategies with business objectives and security priorities, providing insights on identity governance and compliance efforts.
- Coordinates with third-party vendors and implementation partners to integrate, customize, and maintain IAM solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance expectations.
- Cross Train other team members on IAM Functions.
- Solve complex integration issues by developing custom connectors or API solutions to ensure seamless communication between IAM systems and diverse applications.
- Diagnose and resolve errors in automated user provisioning and deprovisioning processes, ensuring timely and accurate account management.
- Identify performance bottlenecks within IAM systems, such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, and implement optimizations to improve system scalability and response times.
- Address challenges in role-based access control (RBAC) by analyzing access patterns, refining role definitions, and minimizing over-provisioning of access rights.
- Investigate and remediate compliance violations by implementing corrective actions, updating IAM policies, and enforcing stricter access controls.
- Handle critical IAM incidents, such as security breaches or system outages, by conducting root cause analysis, implementing fixes, and recommending long-term preventive measures.
Requirements:
As an IAM Implementation Manager you should have,
- Integration and Interface related decisions
- Stability and Resilience related
- Ensuring a proper track of all changes / enhancements on all environments
- Ensure to follow proper IAM deployment process
- Strong understanding of IAM principles (RBAC, least privilege, access provisioning, recertification).
- Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, with experience in implementation and customization.
- Familiarity with other IAM tools like Okta, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Identity Manager.
- Knowledge of regulatory and security standards related to IAM
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bean shell, PowerShell, Python, Java) for automation.
- Experience with API-based integrations and system connectors for enterprise applications.
- Strong development skills in customizing IAM workflows and processes.
- Problem-solving abilities for diagnosing IAM issues and optimizing system performance.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to automate user lifecycle management and access review processes.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SailPoint Identity IQ, IAM development and support.
- Experience working with both cloud-based (e.g., Azure) and on-premises IAM systems.
- Proven track record in maintaining IAM solutions in compliance with security regulations.
- Experience integrating IAM systems with Banking systems through different integration approaches like API, Microservice, Hybrid connector, OOTB, CDP etc.
- Incident management experience, including resolution of IAM-related security incidents.
