About Our Client:
Our client is an established investment management entity based in DIFC, UAE, with a diversified global hospitality portfolio. They seek to hire an Investment Analyst to support their Portfolio and Fund Management teams in evaluating and executing hotel real estate investments worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for hotel acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio analysis, including DCF, IRR, ROI, and sensitivity analysis.
- Evaluate key operating metrics such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy rates, and NOI.
- Conduct market and sector research covering tourism trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscapes.
- Support due diligence processes, coordinating with external advisors for financial, legal, and operational reviews.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for the Investment Committee and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and risk teams to monitor and enhance portfolio performance.
- Assist Investor Relations and Marketing teams by providing financial insights and supporting data visualizations.
- Maintain databases on hotel transactions, market activity, and emerging investment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or hotel asset management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling; experience with Argus or similar tools preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, valuation techniques, and real estate market fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for management and investors.
- Proactive self-starter capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Japanese hotel markets and tourism trends is an advantage.
