About Our Client:
Our client, an established IT firm noted for its innovative solutions and relentless commitment to quality, is currently looking for an experienced AWS cloud administrator. It’s a thrilling chance to take the lead in managing cloud infrastructure, guaranteeing smooth operations, and stimulating innovation inside the company by joining their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for AWS environment, including backup storage and testing.
- Monitor and secure company data and infrastructure against unauthorized access and threats.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining systems such as web servers, databases, operating systems, virtualization platforms, network security devices, load balancers, firewalls, and other network services.
- Managing the company’s private cloud computing environment by monitoring usage, updating software, and troubleshooting issues.
- Install and integrate applications like data warehouses, business intelligence tools, or ERP systems.
- Optimize computing resources like CPU usage, memory consumption, storage capacity, and network bandwidth utilisation and ensure efficient cloud environment performance.
- Design and enforce security measures such as firewalls, access controls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and password policies to protect the company’s data and applications from unauthorised access or misuse.
- Performing routine tasks such as updating software packages, patching operating systems, and backing up data on virtual machines.
