Our client is a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in Jeddah. Our client is searching for an experienced and dedicated Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join our reputed team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care in the field of rehabilitation medicine, overseeing the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients requiring rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with varying physical disabilities, injuries, or neurological conditions requiring rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other rehabilitative modalities.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, injections, or other interventions as part of the comprehensive rehabilitation program.
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on rehabilitation procedures, expected outcomes, and the importance of adherence to the treatment plan.
- Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution, with specialization in Rehabilitation Medicine.
- Board certification or equivalent in Rehabilitation Medicine.
- Valid license to practice Medicine in Saudi Arabia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and empathy towards patients and their families.
