About Our Client:
Our client is an established construction firm based in Saudi Arabia, mainly focused on the swimming pool industry. The client is looking for a highly qualified and experienced mechanical engineer for their company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing mechanical systems for swimming pool projects, including filtration systems, pumps, piping, and heating/cooling systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate mechanical systems into overall pool design and construction plans.
- Conducting site visits to assess project requirements, identify technical challenges, and provide solutions to ensure efficient and effective mechanical installations.
- Managing and supervising the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical support to the project teams.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules for mechanical equipment,
- Conducting inspections and performing repairs
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues, diagnosing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and best practices, and incorporating them into project designs and processes.
- Providing timely and accurate progress reports, project documentation, and technical specifications as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the swimming pool industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in swimming pool construction and operation, including pumps, filters, heaters, and piping systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of relevant standards related to mechanical engineering in the swimming pool industry, such as ASME, ASTM, and NFPA.
- Experience with project management principles and practices is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- A minimum of 6 years plus experience is required.
