About our client:

Our client, a leading healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional eye care services, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced optometrist to join their dynamic team. Renowned for their commitment to patient well-being and state-of-the-art facilities, our client values professionals who share their dedication to excellence in eye care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall eye health. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to detect and diagnose ocular conditions.
  • Contact Lens Fitting: Evaluate patients’ suitability for contact lenses based on ocular health and lifestyle factors. Prescribe and fit a variety of contact lenses, including soft, rigid gas permeable, and specialty lenses. Provide education on proper contact lens care, hygiene, and insertion/removal techniques.
  • Myopic Management: Implement evidence-based strategies to manage and control myopia progression in pediatric and adult patients. Stay abreast of myopia management’s latest research and developments to provide effective interventions.
  • Patient Counseling: Consult and aware patients of the importance of eye health, proper vision care, and the benefits of myopia management. Address patient concerns and questions about contact lens use, myopia, and general eye care.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with ophthalmologists, opticians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in contact lens fitting and myopic management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Western trained.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience.
