RFS is working with a globally recognized and world leading international bank, and specifically working with their Bahrain branch. Due to the growth in demand for their services in Bahrain, they are looking to recruit an experienced Relationship Manager to join their team.
About the role
As a global bank, our client deals with a large volume of clients, all of whom come from different financial situations and have different financial needs. The Relationship Manager will be tasked with servicing and managing new and existing clients, primarily focusing on HNW & UHNW individuals in the region. You will be responsible for identifying the needs of their clients and providing them with any suitable products, services and solutions from our client’s offering.
There will be an emphasis on nurturing the client base that exists within the bank, however, you would also be expected to engage in business development and client acquisition in order to drive profitable revenue and grow the portfolio. Cross-selling will also be a key component of the role so that you can improve the market and customer share with the bank.
The Relationship Manager should have a wealth of experience in dealing with this level of clientele in the region, and should be able to provide suitable investment management solutions that are in line with the client’s aspirations and risk appetite. You must have the ability to display excellent communication skills in order to act as a problem solver on behalf of your clients, as well as maintaining completely up to date portfolio valuations and guidance.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have at least five years of work experience in a similar role within the banking industry, however it does not necessarily have to be from Bahrain. You should be extremely self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and possess excellent knowledge of wealth management products, financial markets, assets and liability products. Overall, you should have a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of clients while maintaining excellent relationships.
